Foundation Center: This site provides links to the home pages of more than 200 grantmakers, including private foundations, corporate grantmakers, community foundations, and grantmaking charities. Additionally, the site contains a comprehensible annotated list of links to other sites on the Internet regarding the nonprofit world.
Grantmakers for Education: This membership organization for private and public grantmakers that support education from early childhood through K-12 and higher education provides online resources and research.
GuideStar: Developed by Philanthropic Research, the site contains descriptions of and financial data concerning 600,000 nonprofit organizations, drawn primarily from IRS tax returns. Data includes a breakdown of each charity's assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenditures, including administrative and fundraising costs.
National Family Center for Family Philanthropy: This is the only national resource center that focuses solely on matters of importance to families engaged in philanthropy and their effective giving. Through research, educational materials and programs, the National Center's site provides advise and resources to families and individuals in philanthropy.
Nonprofit Good Practice Guide: This free resource directory and learning tool provides good practice information to assist in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of nonprofit performance. This initiative is sponsored by The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership.

Society for Nonprofit Organizations: The Madison, Wisconsin based Society for Nonprofit Organizations includes the current issue of Nonprofit World - the society's monthly magazine on nonprofit management and fundraising - on its site, was well as an index of past articles.
